SXSW Success

Hello to all Tesoro fans. Wow what an experience! That's to say the least. So many venues, so many live music fans, so much going on all around Austin, TX.

The guys logged many miles walking around the city but it was all worth it. The energy in Austin for SXSW was one of a kind. The ambience of music playing on nearly every corner and on every major street around downtown was electric. The hundreds of thousands of fans crowding every bar, restaurant, and music venue to hear the next great act to take the stage, or to taste the great food of Austin proved that live music is not dead. It is ALIVE!!!! Fans make festivals such as SXSW possible and Tesoro embraced every ounce of it.

The showcase...AMAZING! Literally. The energy the band has put into writing, rehearsing, and planning the trip to Austin to showcase Tesoro was well worth it. The positive feedback that was received by local Austinites, travelling fans, and other bands was immense. Industry-related professionals were intrigued by the energy and sound of Tesoro which the band was elated to hear.

The University of Texas film department and Austin Underground interviewed Tesoro and filmed the performance. Many thanks to Amyna, Vanessa, and Alexandria with UT for making time to learn more about Tesoro and spread the word around Austin. Stay tuned for snipits in the coming weeks.
